The Angel That Fell in Love With Icarus

So I painted this a few months ago on a newspaper-covered canvas with acryllic and watercolor.

So the story is that before God made himself known a few angels were playing the roles of the Greek gods. Well, one of the other angels was watching a few Earthlings, Daedalus and Icarus and fell instantly in love with Icarus. Fell, being literal, because she knew what was going to happen and went to Earth immediately to try to save him. But, of course falling from Heaven isn't a speedy process. So, she was too late to save him.

Sorry, that was probably obnoxiously rambly. But it took me ages to get the angel right so I had lots of time to think about what I was painting.
